Our Mission
We strive to create an inclusive environment where your child’s natural curiosity and predisposition to learn is fostered through an exciting program that combines play-based, Reggio-inspired, and child-led programming.
Warm, respectful, and reciprocal relationships with childcare providers are prioritized when creating the ideal atmosphere for growth and development. When children feel confident and safe in their physical and emotional surroundings, they are set up to reach their full potential. It is especially important to us to create a space that provides comfortable, calm, and engaging learning centers as we understand that your child will spend a significant part of their early development in our care.
Values
Our staff of Early Childhood Educators and Assistants are passionate about fostering the growth of children in their first five years of life. As educators, we understand our role in a child’s life; to facilitate, guide, and provide unconditional support to every child. We understand that mutual respect and collaboration with children and families come first and foremost. We are not all-knowing, but instead open-minded and inviting of new ideas and approaches to Early Childhood Education.
Reggio Approach
Children are born curious. Little Wonders Childcare provides a program that encourages children to use their imagination for problem-solving, independence, and making choices about their day-to-day lives. We provide open-ended, hands-on activities and experiments in every aspect of your child’s development. We get messy, we ask questions, and we make mistakes, but most of all we have fun!
